It's been two days, and I'm still puzzling out why Conservative Party leader Stephen Harper brought up gay marriage
of his own accord during this already tedious election race. He'll allow a free vote, meaning he'll dump it. Harper -- and his pollsters -- must know something we don't. Or perhaps His Nibs hopes to get that wedding stuff out of the way, desperate to never have to discuss it again: The fear of Tory right-wing nuttiness cost him the election last time. It's all just wacky.
