Flavah of the week
More obligatory election. The Liberals have
a new televison ad which features lesbians, while the Conservatives continue
to shoot themselves in the foot over gay marriage. And the Grits are digging up
more homo marriage dirt on the Tories. Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, the New Democratic Party has a hilarious
bingo card.

ADDENDUM Jan. 10 in the marnin': I can't get over how hot queer issues are to the Liberals in this federal Canuckistan election. I mean, getting
rid of the notwithstanding clause -- dumping the ability of Parliament to override the courts on constitutional matters... that is just nuts. The Grits seriously want judges to make all the tough decisions for the pols, so no controversy will ever create real public debate in this country again -- except for the debate over the death of democracy itself.
